The Black Lives Matter movement

Equality is a key ideal in many societies around the world. However, in many of those same societies and others, systemic racism and other forms of discrimination greatly affect people’s access to resources, opportunities, political power, and justice. Currently, in the United States, the Black Lives Matter movement is confronting such systemic discrimination in ways that are not only affecting change, but are sparking conversations and raising awareness internationally.
Communication Center has gathered together these books that can help you learn about discrimination and help you to empathize with those who don’t enjoy the same privileges you do. We hope that by learning about the challenges posed by racism and other forms of discrimination you will be better equipped to make the world a more accepting place.
